Dan began to design strategies for prominent mutual funds such as the Rushmore Funds (now known as the Capiello-Rushmore Funds), the Rydex funds, the Rogers Raw Materials fund, and the Perth Mint of Western Australia in the early 1990s. In fact, Dan was instrumental in the design of the first six Rydex portfolios in 1993, and in the execution of their strategies for several years during much of the 1990s.
